In this Ableton Live 10 Production Basics tutorial, the first of 2019, Joshua Casper shows you how to save your own personal Live Default Preset which will effectively make Ableton Live open your custom way every time you launch the program … excluding any saved projects of course.
Saving Multiple Default Templates is easy. Which means you can easily save different starting points for different production processes.
As an example, one template for regular production of house music, another for recording voice overs, and a third for hip hop.
Taking a bit of time to set these templates up will save you a bunch of time in the future. You can always update and change what needs changing as your production style changes and advances.
