Little Plate is newest edition to Soundtoys’ growing line of incredible plugin effects. Little Plate reverb was inspired by the original EMT 140 plate reverb. However, once the iconic sound, tone and sonic quality of the 140 was captured by testing and emulating 5 different original hardware units, they went ahead and added on some modern twists. For example, the original could only up to a 5 second reverb tail. Little plate pushed a bit past that with a reverb tail setting up to infinity! This setting is great for making interesting pads and atmospheres. Also, keeping in mind the well known fact that reverbs can get a bit muddy a Low Cut control was added. And, finally there is a modulation switch that when activated as subtle and slight modulations into the reverb tail.
