The smart EQ 2 is a Linear Phase EQ with Mid Side capabilities and 7 Regular bands but the real magic is in the 8th Smart Band.
This band can listen to your audio and based on what instrument you have selected, it helps identify and fix various issues including tonal balance and resonances. You can then control the amount of the algorithm applied and EQ further to your own taste. It’s not designed to do your job for you, just to help you get a really good starting point to mix to your own taste.
