Soundtoys
Sie-Q is a model of the German Siemens W295b eq from their 60s era broadcast console. The curves are super smooth and sound great on mixes, vocals, guitar… pretty much everything. The stand out though is the spacious airy highs. And we’re from Vermont so we know highs. (Because of the mountains.) Try it out, it’s hard to make it sound bad, not impossible, but hard. Drop it before or after your favorite reverb, or both. It’s sweet, simple, and some other “s” word that evokes positivity. Oh, and it’s pronounced “C Q” or “Z Q”, depending on where you’re from.
